I am an Assistant Professor of European History at Morehouse College and a regional expert working on Russia, the Soviet Union, and East Germany (GDR).

In 2022, I became a regular commentator in American media on the Russian war in Ukraine, Russian-American relations, and issues of race and racism in Russia and Ukraine.
